From Augusta, Maine on Interstate 95: Leave I-95 on Exit 133 – Fairfield and Skowhegan. Take Route 201 North at the circle in Skowhegan. Yonder Hill Jellystone Park™ Campground is on Route 201 North just 2 ½ miles from Skowhegan. Look for our sign on the right-hand side of the road. From Bangor, Maine on Interstate 95: Leave I-95 on Exit 157 – Newport and Skowhegan. Take Route 2 to Skowhegan. Take Route 201 North at the circle in Skowhegan. Comfort Stations Open 24 hours. We have 4 washroom facilities spread throughout the campground; all are furnished with free showers. Clean showers and bathrooms are a priority. Dishwashing Stations Open 24 hours. We have 2 stations to wash your dishes, located at two of the comfort stations. Dish soap is not provided. Suds Station Open 24 hours. We have a laundry facility that is located in front of the Ranger Station. Laundry soap and fabric softener are available for sale in the Ranger Station. A change is machine available in the Rec. Ranger Station Open 10am-7pm. If you have left something at home, have no fear! We sell RV supplies, basic food items & snacks, firewood, ice, bait, propane and Yogi Bear™ souvenirs. Cindy Bear™ Pavilion This pavilion is perfect for any group of 100 people or less. Ideal for birthdays or family reunions. Must reserve and hold with a deposit in advance, availability is limited. We are located in Madison, Maine just on the northern outskirts of Skowhegan on US Rt. 201. The area has much to offer for every type of outdoor enthusiast. About a 10 minute drive: Lakewood Golf Course – an 18 hole, par 72 course. Lakewood Theater – one of the oldest and most famous summer theaters. They offer shows from May through September. Skowhegan State Fair – the oldest consecutively running agricultural fair. About a 15 minute drive: New Balance Factory Store – offers footwear, apparel and accessories for men, women and children. About a 20 minute drive: Lake Wesserunsett – a public boat launch located in East Madison. Great for boating, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. North Star Orchards – a local family farm with 35 acres of apple trees. Skowhegan Drive-In – Fridays & Saturdays showing two movies and has a snack bar. Loon’s Cove Golf Course – a 9 hole, par 3 golf course. About a 30 minute drive: Cayford Orchards – a local family farm, raising fresh seasonal fruit. They are also available at the Skowhegan Farmers Market. About an hour drive: Hollywood Casino – Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Poker & Slot Machines. Sugarloaf – Golfing, hiking, moose view tours, concerts, skiing, snow tubing, snowboarding and more. Crab Apple Whitewater – located in the West Forks, a family owned and operated whitewater rafting company. About a 2-1/2 hour drive: Moosehead Lake – located in Greenville, it’s the largest lake in Maine. Great for boating, swimming, fishing and hiking Mt. Kineo. |

Fish Ponds Here at Jellystone Park™ we have 3 small ponds stocked with Rainbow and Brown Trout. You and your children will be amazed by the show these beautiful fish put on when you feed them in the “No Fishing Pond”. This pond is off limits to fish, but you won’t be disappointed by the entertainment. We do have a fish food dispenser nearby to feed them. In the two other ponds, we do allow fishing and you can fish whenever you like, for a small fee. No fishing license is required and bait is sold at the Ranger Station. Open all camping season May-October. The Ol’ Swimmin Hole Sit back and relax around our unique pool. With gradual entry in both the shallow and the deep ends, this 60’x100′ pool has depths that range from 3′- 9′. Lounge chairs and tables line the exterior of the pool deck for your comfort. We offer day use of our pool as well. Open Memorial Weekend – Labor Day Weekend. Arcade Alley Fun claw/arcade games, basketball shoot, ping pong and pool table. Change machine handy. Open all camping season May-October, rain or shine. Gem Mining Uncover some really cool treasures, such as rubies, shark teeth and much more in our new mining sluice. Each gem mining excursion is guaranteed to result in fun finds! For supplies and more information, go to the Ranger Station. Bouncy Bear Zone New to Jellystone Park™ this year, we would like to introduce the Bouncy Bear Zone. This fun area includes 2 bounce houses, a bouncy slide and a Rock Twist Waterslide. A ride bracelet must be worn to enter this area.
